Default Returning to work

I'm starting back at work tomorrow. I wonder how it will be. It's been nice to exercise whenever I want and it's easier to plan meals when you're home. I will have to learn to make up a whole new schedule for my new life. It will feel like I'm brand new all over again and probably need to catch up on things. It took me a few moments to remember how to check my voicemail!

It's at work where the temptations are. Each day 2-3 people bring homemade goodies to work. There's always some sort of snack lying around. At every meeting is a variety of salty and sweet snacks. Food is everywhere!

Smile At Work Temptations

Girlfriend, I work for a doctor and it is all around me. Twice a week stuff is catered in, reps. bring by chocolate by the bagfuls, cookies by the platefuls.... I can say I am coping really well with it. (Okay somedays are better than others.) Use the force, and remember no snacking... I do it from time to time and have to remind my self to stop or dont start... print out a copy of the 10 commandments of WLS, post it at work, I did... it is here somewhere in the forum. good luck chica!

Default Silly me...

I didn't even know you weren't working....

I know going back to work for me was all my htought process. I worked in Real Estate so we have reps that bring food constantly...not the good stuff either! I found once I got there... I didn't really want the junky food or I had one bite and walked away..never taking a plate!

The other thing I did or actually my fellow agetn did for me, was to tell the reps that I could only eat healthy foods, fruit veggies, low cal or sugar free. You what the reps brought a special plate of something for me every time after that! It was so nice...made me feel special. Sometimes you just have to ask.

Good Luck back on the job.
