Default Bad Breath

My wife just minutes ago informed my that I have very bad breath. She didn't tell me sooner because she knows how upset i'd be. I brush floss and gargle, but I guess it comes from the gut. Does anyone know the particulars and more important....how to get rid of it! Open, May 12th Dr. Callery

its because your body is in ketosis and burning up fat! It wont go away until you are able to add some carbs to your diet... sometimes it can take as long as 4 months for it to start clearing up... my advice chew gum.. all the time! Good luck brother.

You are looking good there, Pal! The bad breath thing is just something you gotta live with. I'm not much of a gum chewer so I buy wintergreen sugar-free life savers. They're pretty strong and kinda taste like pepto bismol. I know that sounds weird but I like them. They also make peppermint in sugar free. Also, Ice Breakers mints are sugar free and really strong.

AJ,
Buy stock in Altoids. I go through a box a week. Even now that I'm stagnant on my weight I still am addicted to the altoids.

I had the same problem myself... still do sometimes. I've been trying to eat a few crackers here and there each day. Something to get a little bit of carbs in my tummy... I usually don't want them, but it has really helped cut out the nasty taste in my mouth... and the smell that comes out!

Good luck!
