After a few weeks of slow loss, I weighed myself on Saturday and had lost 5 lbs last week... well, I decided to step on the scale again this morning, and I've lost another 5 since Saturday!!
10 lbs in 11 days!
I can't emphasize exercise enough in this whole process. If I find myself slowing down in terms of weight loss, I either increase my exertion (by adding more weight at the gym or exercising for a longer time) or add a new form of exercise into the mix. I started doing yoga this week, after having not practiced for close to a year. It was tremendously easier than how it used to be when I practiced 3-4 times a week but weighed almost 320. 60+ lbs makes an enormous difference in how deep I can go into the poses and my overall endurance in being able to stick with the pace of the class. I'm sore today, but I feel like I've made tremendous improvement!
Only 5 lbs until I'm my DMV weight!
