Default Another 5!!

Well all...I just had my DOT physical done today and I have two pieces of good news...
1) My BP is back to normal (actually lower than it has been for a VERY long time) after shooting WAY WAY up there after surgery. 134/78!!
2) I'm down another 5 lbs...WOO HOO!!

Who would have ever thought?? This is such a GREAT tool and I am thankful for it and for all of you!!

Smile Way to go Brenda!

Way to go girlfriend! Keep up the good work... so how many pounds do you need to lose until you are the weight you told the DMV you were?

Default 6 Week check up...

Just got back from my 6 week check-up. Total lost now is 40 lbs. Kelly put me on a different medication for my acid blocker (THANK GOD!) and says I am doing great. Just wanted to let you all know.

Talking Another 5 for me too!

After a few weeks of slow loss, I weighed myself on Saturday and had lost 5 lbs last week... well, I decided to step on the scale again this morning, and I've lost another 5 since Saturday!! 10 lbs in 11 days!

I can't emphasize exercise enough in this whole process. If I find myself slowing down in terms of weight loss, I either increase my exertion (by adding more weight at the gym or exercising for a longer time) or add a new form of exercise into the mix. I started doing yoga this week, after having not practiced for close to a year. It was tremendously easier than how it used to be when I practiced 3-4 times a week but weighed almost 320. 60+ lbs makes an enormous difference in how deep I can go into the poses and my overall endurance in being able to stick with the pace of the class. I'm sore today, but I feel like I've made tremendous improvement!

Only 5 lbs until I'm my DMV weight!
