Talking Updates on Mom and Me

Hi all...

I don't post often here, but I do try and keep up on the reading. I just wanted to post on behalf of my mom and myself.

Mom (Lee) had her surgery with Dr. Callery on 6/22 and is doing WONDERFULLY. Down 13lbs and feeling pretty good. She's definitely one of those like Jean who starts running marathons shortly after surgery....jeez...I babied myself for 3 months after my surgery!!

Anyway, as for myself...In 7.5 months, I'm down 143 lbs and feeling fantastic. I've had very few problems and though it has been a challenge to learn how the new tummy wants to be treated, I don't regret anything about this surgery. It's incredible though how much energy I have....I'm always going and doing something. (Hense, my very few posts of the last few months!!!)

Anyway, hang in there new Posties....everyday gets better and better!
