with some items and liquids staying down, in my own experience i wouldn't be too concerned about a stricture. Sounds more like pissy pouch syndrome. Let your body tell you what is right and what isn't at this stage, not just your doctor's plan. Everyone progresses through the food phases at different rates

When i had my stricture, I was bout 5-6 weeks out i think and waited like an idiot until nothing (even liquids were starting to come back up) would stay down. I was also having the dry heaves about 10 times a day for no apparant reason followed or preemptive foamies/slimies.

Just listen to your own body and do what it likes.. if it works.. just stay on a simple, easy to digest dietary plan for now and try those easier foods (scrambled eggs, cheeses, yogurt, etc) from time to time to see if they still don't settle

I had my surgery 4.5 weeks ago and I folllowed the plan til the puree or soft foods. I eat a lot of fish, I can get down lean ground beef, small soft hot dogs almost anything really. I have a harder time getting in the required protien and water.
