Default Is it just me or.....

Seriously. Is it just me that has noticed since surgery I think more about going poo? I don't even remember giving it a second thought before surgery. Now if it has been a while I'll kinda feel icky, maybe sick to my stomach. After that it starts a whole new train of thoughts (imagine these happening all at the same time)... Should I eat something to make me poo? Am I constipated? Where am I going and what am I doing in the next several hours, because, if I figure out something to make me poo will it give me the runs.

Its not that this is a problem. I just wondered about others.

I do think about it alot! I worry every once and a while if it has been too long and I need to force myself to go. I drink my benefibre in the morning and in the evening and it really helps to keep me regular. Just wanted to let ya know you werent alone though

While I'm not obsessed with it, I do think about my schedule -- trying to plan obligations around my "natural schedule." If I have obligations during that time, the day before I try to really avoid weird foods, and I get up EARLY the next morning to try to get things moving along. That was never an issue before WLS!

I think about it alot! LOL. And sometimes I start to feel sick like something is wrong in my pouch (almost nausous) and then I'll poop and it feels better. This never happened prior to surgery.

Perfectly normal!
What goes in has to go out.
How much did we take in since surgery?
We are concerned about losing the weight and thereby "getting rid" - by any means!
We don't want junk, fat, poo, excess water, emotions etc clogging up our "new" us...
Poo is just another version!
How often have you seen to your lavatorial needs BEFORE stepping on those scales?!
We are also testing new textures, new foods, drinks, combinations etc in the safety of our home environment. We are experimenting with timing, how we feel and are learning about how we function. Hardly surprising we have to retrain our bathroom habits too!
Regularity, whatever timing it is makes us feel better. Once a day in the mornings at home, before going to work is ideal for me - don't need to "worry" about getting caught short when out at work or socialising....
Best wishes!
Vim

Thank goodness I'm not the only one. I was starting to wonder if I was some freak or something. I guess if I am I am in good company. Thanks everyone.
