Default Wow you are a miracle!

I am so glad you kept telling them even when they said that was normal. What if that would have stayed for along time it could have caused so much damage. I am so glad you will feel better and I don't blame you for being angry. I was in Germany because of my husband being in the military and I almost died from pnuemonia. I had to go to the military clinic 3 times then I was referred to German doc and then I went to the Krankenhouse twice. I woke up vomiting and extreme chills one morning and finally I was admitted and sent to ICU the next day. It was so horrible. Right now I am dealing with Kidney problems and have gone to the ER and the dr twice and finally I have an appointment with a specialist on the 26th. I have terrible edema and I know it has to do with my Kidneys so because of the water retention I can't tell if I have lost weight but I still stay on my diet and exercise when I can. Did you get alot of information on what to eat after surgery when I went to Krankenhaus for my surgery (which wasn't done due to my liver) I was given no education and here in Washington State I was given tons of information which really helped. Love and Blessings! Get well soon!!

Wow I totally agree that is some crazy shit. Good thing you didn't just let them blow you off. I definitely would make sure I didn't have to pay one damn bill from this incident. I would also see at it that this guy didn't stitch up anymore humans for a long time. Glad you are on the mend once and for all. Hopefully the road to recovery will be painless now.

OMG.....Im glad your ok.....They should cover all cost concured for this visit and any other related to this visit........Ass....he had to know he dropped it. I would be pissed that he didn't respect you enough to find that stupid needle. You dont just drop a freaken needle and say "O, Im sure it must have fell into the sharps box" What if it had punctured something vital? He needs to be tought that mistakes cost people there lives..........Anyway, I hope your gonna be ok chic a dee.

Has the Doctor/Hospital talked to you about this? Have they called? I would think they would be doing some major butt kissing.

LMAO @ the Haystack comment!!!!!!!!

I go in this morning to talk with the surgeon again and for him to check on my incision he had to reopen and make a little bigger..just in case infection as has started you know...
Questions WILL be answered this morning...believe that sh!t. Yesterday I was just in shock and in pain so my brain wasn't functioning fast enough to start rattling off questions you know?
My mother is a nurse and I know full well that you HAVE to insist on getting something done for yourself when you don't "feel" right, especially when the docs are saying it's normal. Normal my a$$! I told me doc last night, that that guy is lucky he wasn't there last night, he'd had to surgically remove my foot from his ass.
Well my ride is here to take me to the doc...update in a little bit!

ok, just got back...

apparently the resident that was sewing me up was inserting the needle wrong, and pulling too much skin together for the stitches and it snapped. the thread went one way and the needle went inside me. There isn't a policy for counting the needles and thread and stuff for closing incisions...they just count for the internal stuff...NOW there is...I told them to call it Rachal's Rule...lots of apologies and what not...
It's fine..it's over...I'm just glad they found it and took it out and I feel a WHOLE LOT better today. My incision is just sore now...WOOT!
I'm glad I'm feeling better and can go on...

By the way...I've lost 23 flippin pounds in exactly 2 weeks! WHOA!
That is just soooo crazy to me! I haven't been below 300 in like 5 years! WOOT!!!!!!

you guys rock! SMOOCH!
