I guess I'm done?
Did anyone ever hit a plateau that lasted two months or more? I stopped loosing weight at 7 months, but continued to lose two more sizes. Now I've been a size 6 and 150 for a little more than a month. I really would like to go on down to 135 and have been running three times a week (stopped weights), but nothing doing. Do you guys think that's it? Should I start eating fruits and raw veggies. Should I cut back? I've been known to eat an occasional cookie, or chips... and maybe I should cut that out and my iced mochas completely? I do have fat still that could come off. Any ideas?

You don't say how tall you are....and don't forget that muscle weighs more. Also, your bones are denser from carrying all that extra weight around. It's okay to add a few pounds for each decade that you get older. The true test is to get your body fat percentage done. If you belong to a gym, they usually do one for free.

Lean muscle also burns fat. Continue with the weights, but cut back to less weight and more reps, like 2-5 pounds worh of weight and twice as many reps as normal... that will get that fat burning and you wont bulk up!
Your body may just be at its natural weight. Embrace it and love it if you make changes and dot se improvement iover the next couple of months... good luck hot mama!

Weights
Will start weights back up the way you suggest Bridget. I'm 5'8". I really do want to stress that there is more fat around my bottom and hips and thighs that can come off. So what do you guys think of "dieting" now.

I was stuck for 20 weeks between 156 and 152 pounds. It was incredibly frustrating. I increased my protein and water, but it didn't really seem to help very much.
Two weeks ago I made a new rule. I decided that I would not eat after 7pm anymore. (Even though I get RAVENOUS in the evenings.) Suddenly, I have dropped three pounds!
Three pounds may not seem like much...but when you've been stuck for 20 weeks...WOW, it's amazing!

Your BMI is 22-very healthy as the range is 18-25.
As for your butt, it's not fat. All your excess skin is rolled up upon itself in there. You can have 5-20 lbs of excess skin floating around your body. At this point, if you keep dieting and lose weight, it's going to come from your muscles. Go get a body fat percent test done.
You need to keep the protein intake up and do weight exercises to maintain what muscle you have. Running is great for your heart, but it's not going to move the scale for long term success. Muscle is the key for long-term success. As Bridget said, muscle burns more calories, even when you're asleep! Cardio exercises burns calories only for a few hours at a time.

Dale
You and me both Dale. My excess weight is in my bottmon half. I would just love to have skinny little ole' legs!! However I wouldn't want to look like Lindsay Lohan and Nicole Ritchie these day. Man....
As far as continuing to lose weight, deosn't look like it's an option. I will however resum the weights with lower weight and more reps. Running kicks my but anyway!!!
