Is it bad that I'm eating more than just 2 or 3 bites and I'm 10 days post op? It kinda makes me worry! I'm scared I'm eating too much, but I dont feel that "full" feeling after a couple bites.

Ditto that question.

I am almost 3 wks post op and can eat 1/2 cup to 3/4 cup of cottage cheese with tuna. Although I try to stay closer to the 1/2 cup. That seems like a lot of food so soon after surgery. I do get a full feeling but the amount of food scares me.

You'll feel full after 2-3 bites for a few more weeks. You need to eat frequently at this stage. You tummy is still healing. When you're allowed to have regular food, you'll start to transition to larger portions and less frequent depending on what your body needs.

After a year, I still feel full after 8-10 bites of regular food. When you can only eat so little, you try to find foods that are the most nutritious within the volume you are able to consume.

I am so thankful for all of you! Just knowing that I am not alone is so helpful. Still feel like I can eat too much. I finally got on a friend's scale, lost 13 more lbs! So, somethings working.
I am eating yogurts, sugar free pudding, watermelon, soups, cottage cheese, protein shakes, etc.... I am supposed to have more cooked veggies and will begin doing that today.
Hope all of you are doing well!

Laura I am right there with ya. I love my raw vegies, but it looks like my diet is running a bit slower... here i am 1 month out today and still on the puree.... ugh it makes a person not want to eat.
