Default question on beverages

I am drinking crystal lite like mad. My water is deeeee-sgusting, so without flavor it doesnt get drank.

Couple of things. Does anyone else get pains in the lower back if a certain amount of water intake isnt met. It could be my lithium wiht it but my back just screams nightly. I know its my kidneys as i have had several kidney stones and the pains are coming right from that location.

another question and wondering if this isnt the culprit for my propencity to weight gain lately. Does alcohol cause weight gain? Even a glass of wine a night or a couple martini's on a saturday night?

I am trying to figure out where this weight gain is coming from and the alcohol is the only place i can really feel out that could be causing it. I cant stand meat lately, im not getting in hardly any protein, im hardly taking in anything but im snacking. *bad mom* I will grab a small handful of apple jacks 1-2 times a day. no where near enough to even fill a bowl for a small bowl of cereal, just like 10-12 to snack on.

Please help. I dont know where this stall is coming from. No changes in my medication regimine, im getting a ton of exercise now, riding my bike everywhere or walking everywhere.

Thanks for any input

Alcohol is full of calories and will definitely effect your weight loss. I was visiting Saint Louis a month ago and was drinking Orange Juice and Gin when I was out at the Casino or at the Ball Games. I did not loose any weight for over two weeks and ended up putting on a few pounds.

You need to get onto a good protein source. This will assist in your weight loss and will allow your body to start loosing the fat instead of your muscle. Without the protein, you will continue to loose muscle mass. Some exercise and Protein will get you back on track.

I have found a good protein supplement, UNJURY Medical Quality Protein Supplement: High Protein Supplement Uses Whey Protein Isolate. Great tasting whey protein supplements!. This is the only protein that easily mixes into water or milk without having to use a blender. It is low in calories, low in sugar and carbs.
