Default Just thought I'd say hi...

I've been lurking on these boards for months now, figured I'd finally register and say Hi...

Got my bypass on July 17th and all seems to be going very well.. I was in-and-out of the hospital in less than 24hrs! Did the liquid pain medication for a few days to help me sleep more than anything (Recliner worked so much better than bed!).

Now here it is a few weeks later and I wonder to myself "was anything actually done to me?" I seem to be able to handle most any kinds of food (albeit, I have to eat a lot slower or it hurts) Anyone else have these results? I'm supposed to be on pureed food only - but I'm able to handle small amounts of cheese, chicken, veggies, etc. with no problems. I've only run into a couple times where it feels as if the food is "stuck" and I get light headed, so I'm forced to stop... wait... quit..

Anyway - good to be here, I'll try to get some pix up soon - my myspace is so outdated! Was about 330 pre and 319ish now... Seems slow, but at least it's moving...

-Tim
