GAHHHHHHHH

Your post makes my blood BOIL.... You *absolutely* need to rest, rest, rest.. our mantra around here is sip, rest, walk.....repeat... rest being a very important part of your recovery!

Is there anyone else you can stay with, besides your sister?

but she is correct in that you need to be up and walking around every 2-3 hours. and breath in your spirometer. the left sided pain to me sounds normal as i too had it but if it gets sharp and / or more severe pain then call your doc

Yes, you do need to get up and go walking every few hours.. but if she'd been up since 7 am and napping at 1pm? And the part that set my teeth on edge is the not helping with ants in the bathroom and the screaming at her.. There is NO excuse for screaming at her!

Shoot, I was still in the damn hospital at 5 days out!

BTW.. I never had a spirometer at all.

The only walking I did that early out was around my house, outside to look at my gardens, and a little bit around the drugstore (which wiped me out, it is a large drugstore). Your sister should mind her own business. If you are tired, take a nap. You shouldn't be on your hands and knees cleaning a floor.

To be honest, I think you would be better off at home alone. I was happy to see my husband head off to work every day. As long as you are getting up and moving around you are fine. You know best what feels like too much right now. Some people can go for real walks (around the neighborhood, etc.), I couldn't do that for weeks without getting dizzy and nausous.
