It's FREE unless somebody brings cake--then somebody's got to PAY!

If the love is there...then things will fall into place...but that doesn't mean in the meantime that you should waive your rights to remind him of a few things. I know my wife NEVER hesitates to remind me of ANYTHING! Communication is the key and not keeping anything bottled up. I may have said good stuff here, but I don't always operate at that level. Since the surgery, my moods and my psyche have been in Hyperdrive, and still are today--I drive all my friends and family up the wall--BUT we usually talk it out and things are all good. That's probably all the needs to happen with you two...a little talking, a few crab legs*, a nice fire, and a blanket. Things will work out...

*substitute a protein shake if you'd like...they just aren't as sexy as crab legs.

Take care,

Mike

I disagree, as I think he is doing it on purpose. He may feel that if you get too thin you will leave him. He is obviously insecure. I'd have a "Come to Jesus" meeting with him. Tell him that you listened to him regarding his WLS and didn't complain, and now it's your turn. Reassure him you love him and won't leave him when you get thin. But, if he keeps it up, you won't feel supported. Good luck!

Just in time.....i had a little 'chat' with him about an hour ago. He said that once i am skinny, i am gonna realize that he is fat, bald and old.....i just cant with men sometimes!!!! (he paints a pretty picture, doesnt he...lol)
I got so angry then so sad. In my eyes he is the most beautiful man in the world, inside and out, and whether I am 254 lbs or 189 lbs or even 150 lbs...that wont change. And i told him that like a hundred times. He was the man that, at 254 lbs, saw me for who i am....not the fat surrounding me...and that changing my outside, doesnt change my inside. He got kinda quiet and then promised he will be better about the whole thing.....we will see...WHEW for now......fingers crossed......

Trying to sabotage me so early on?
and I totally agree with Nicole on this one. I hate to say it Michelle er Mariah but it does sound like he cant handle the fact that your going to be all hot and sexy and full of energy when he's resorting to his old ways for whatever reason. My husband was doing the same thing even though we're separated do you know that idiot fool bought me a cake on my birthday A CAKE! yeah i think your BF is doing it on purpose

GREAT!!!!!!!!!! I'm so glad to hear that! Telling him that he loved you for who you were will hopefully open his eyes.

I've already made a decision that if anyone of my men friends wants me when I get thin, I'm gonna tell them to take a hike. If you don't like me fat, then I don't like you when I'm thin! It may seem harsh to some, but that's how I feel.
