Red face The colored cheerio's killed me

Ever since surgery I've been having nothing but dreams about food...good dreams and bad dreams. I don't mind the good ones, but last night was a bad one! There were these cheerio's (the cereal!) that were colored...green, red, blue, and they would turn into these bad guys when they got wet, and try to kill me. Being killed by cereal is not a common dream for me. I'm wondering when these food dreams stop? or at least decrease in frequency?

This Is Funny, When I Was Pregnant With My Daughter 13 Years Ago, I Had A Dream There Was A Huge Gang War Here. There I Was In The Middle, Big And Pregnant And Well We Were All Killing Each Other With Strawberry Jello. Talk About Cravings. Those Monsters Do Kill Us. Good Luck With The Cheerios And I Will Send Over The Jello Next Time To Help You Out. Haha!!!

I had food dreams everynight for the first 2 months and off and on for another 2 months. I haven't had any in a while. Write them down it might be fun to read later.

This is from An Online Guide To Dream Interpretation
Cereal
To dream that you are eating cereal, denotes the start of a new project or new stage in your life. It may also indicate your need to restore yourself in some basic way. Alternatively, your mind may already be thinking ahead to breakfast. It is not uncommon for your fleeting thoughts to be incorporated into your dream.
I love that site...I don't remember my dreams tho.

Lol, about the cheerios!

I dreamed about food for several weeks. In my dreams, I would be gorging myself to the point of making myself sick. Way too many of my dreams took place at the Chinese buffet, lol.

I think my dreams dramatically decreased after I returned to work. I suppose it gave my mind something different to think about. You'll probably be the same after you start college, and are more occupied than you are in the summer.

That is what it means if YOU are eating CEREAL, but what does it mean when CEREAL is eating YOU? I never would have thought that eating cereal in a dream meant something specific...
