Default 4 weeks out today!

Hello all! I just wanted to share some news and ask a question. The news is: I lost another 4 lbs since last Wednesday. I'm kind of disappointed with such a small number. I had been losing just about 10 lbs a week, and now only 4??
Question is: Am I doing something wrong??
Any suggestions would be GREATLY appreciated!

Talking Reality check

Brenda,
Did you really think you were going to continue to lose 10 pounds per week? You lose a lot in the first week or two and then it gradually slows down. 4 pounds in a week is great! That is still 17 pounds a month. If you want I will email you a copy of my weight loss chart that will show you what my weight loss looked like. I think I was an average loser

You are doing great, don't obsess over the numbers or you will make yourself crazy

Default I'm already crazy...just don't tell...

Mary,
I would GREATLY appreciate you e-mailing me your weightloss chart. And I know it's not all about the numbers. I just can't help thinking that maybe I'm doing something wrong. I worked for this and I don't want to mess it all up.

Mary

Can you email me that chart? I'm due to go in on the 16th and I would like to know what I'm looking at losing the first couple of months. Thanks so much for all of your help.

Default Send me your email

Anyone who wants my chart, just needs to email me privately with their email address so that I can send it as an attachment. It is an Excel file so you will need Excel to open it. A year ago I never would have dreamed of sharing my weight, or weight loss with anyone. It is amazing how things change.

33 lbs lost in just 4 wks..... that's fabulous. You're doing great! Just stick to the "new pouch" rules and you'll lose steadily. Walk, walk, walk,....sip, sip, sip. Eat protein FIRST!!!! You'll be shocked at how the weight drops off during those first 6 months. It is soo...... exciting! Congratulations!

Don't stress over it, you also didn't gain the weight overnight. It will take a good year to get most of the weight off.

Default Suzanne, Mary, everyone...

Thanks so much for your words of wisdom! Once again I went back to my old way of thinking about how I failed AGAIN...BUT I DIDN'T!! When was the last time I ever lost 33 pounds?? (Right Woody??) I guess I just have to relax and let my body heal and deal with this all in it's own time, not in the time I think it should take. Like Marie said, I didn't gain all this weight over night, and OBVIOUSLY I'm not going to lose it over night either! 33 pounds is so much better than ZERO!! I just know that I'm going to have make more time to exercise. I haven't been doing much of that lately. THANKS AGAIN EVERYONE FOR YOUR SUPPORT!!
