Default I am stuck - need help please!

I had my surgery on 1-28-08 and I am down 60 pounds as of today and I am stuck - I have been at this weight for almost 6 weeks and its driving me nuts. I worry everyday that this is where my body wants to be and I will not loose anymore - yikes! My 6 month check-up is tomorrow and I wanted to be down more by now, I know I should be happy with what I have lost thus far but you can't help but get caught up in it and want more off. I want to be down another 40 lbs or so and just want it to get moving again.

I watch what I eat, as well as my portions, stop when I am full and do my best to get as much protein in everyday as I can. Shoudl I still be doing sp,e protein iskades, would that help? I am walking everyother day 4 -5 miles and riding my bike in the evenings as well. Has anyone else had this problem for this length of time? Any suggestions would be appreciated

Hey.. you're almost my podmate! I had surgery the day after you. I also have a tendency to stall for five or six weeks at a time.

One of the things that slows my weight loss down is not getting ENOUGH calories and not getting ENOUGH fluid. Shocking how counter-intuitive those two things are.. if you're exercising that much you need even more than the standard minimums stated.. bump up your calories & fluid intake some and see what happens.
