Default pre op I drank a ton of water

I don't know why but even though I used to drink a ton of water pre op (it was actually my drink of choice) now I find it very difficult to tolerate just by itself.

However, strangely enough, I have found that it I drink it hot (boiled out of the kettle) I actually quite like it!

Strange, I know, but I thought I would share this with everyone. Especially since I am cold a lot of the time, I find the hot water in a nice cup feels like a treat.

Anyways, try it and let me know what you think ok

Cheers
Laurie

Hi Laurie,

I hear a lot of people can't tolerate water post-op. Fortunately, I wasn't one of them, but I do get really bored with the taste really quick. I drink the Propel fitness water with vitamins and calcium - but many here say the taste is too sweet for them.

Nothing, however, beats a cup of hot tea with splenda! My latest addiction is Lipton french vanilla... And I can't go to bed without my Celestial Seasonings Sleepytime.

Whatever works to get those 64 ounces in!

I can drink the water straight-up, with Crystal Lite, warm, cold...but my pouch does not like ICE cold liquid. But loves the popsicles and fudge bars. And the POUCH always gets what it wants!

Cathy

PS~ I've tried to show it (the pouch) who's boss a few times...it didn't work out so well for me.
