Default 200lbs gone!

Hey all, I used to post here quite a lot while I was going through the pre-op process, but I haven't posted much at all afterwards. Been feeling a bit guilty about that so I figured I'd drop by and say hi and give an update.

I had my surgery in September, 2006(Roux-en-Y), and I've lost right around 200 lbs. At my highest weight I was 430, and last time I weighed myself a couple weeks ago I was at 235. I used to have the goal of 220 but I'm starting to hear far too often that I am getting too thin! (hahaha... I don't give a crap what people say, I will NEVER get sick of hearing that... lol)

So yeah, needless to say I'm thrilled with the surgery and have never looked back except to say "Damn I wish I would have done this sooner!"

I'll get some pictures up sometime soon if I can find a couple decent ones.

WOW. Congrats!! That is awsome.
Thanks for posting that. I have to loose almost as much as I have lost already, but I'll get there I know.
I lived in the Minneapolis area for 3 years a few years ago, so howdy to you.
Do post some pixies, I need to do the same.

Congrats on your success. I do remember when you used to post here when you were pre-op. I am thrilled that you have returned. I, too have been away for some time and really missed a ton. I miss the support.

Glad to see you back and best of luck with maintenance.
