Sorry that you are feeling bad. Everything is still swollen in there, so it is pretty normal to have a hard time getting the fluids in during the first days. That's why everyone says to walk, "sip", and rest. The sips have to be very small and almost constant to get enough fluid in. Not much more than wetting your mouth. Ice chips work too. It will get easier in time.

Those popsicles are pretty tasty. We found them at Wal-Mart too.

It is also pretty normal to feel left out of family meals. Everything will normalize in time, though. Try to distract yourself at meal times. Use the time to make a list of all the things you want to do in your new, smaller container.

Hang in there!

So far no good. You better have the whole world praying! I've had about 5oz water and a popsicle. Nothing within the last few hours because my stomach feels worse than yesterday. I think it's from protein powder. I'm calling the doctor tomorrow. I just wish I could throw up whatever is down there. I already told the doc that I'm not tolerating water, and I was told to find another fluid then. I think a lot of fluids are made from water though.

Alot of fluids are made from water but for some people they don't upset the stomach like water does. Try them and see. You need the fluids.

My problem today and yesterday is now I can not tolerate anything cold or room temp. Not water, not food, not anything. It feels like my pouch tries to squeeze what I put in it, like a crampy squeezing feeling. I can only drink broth and other hot things. I'm also getting very dizzy and light headed again. I am trying so hard to drink...I don't want to go back to that hell hole!
