My mom is going to let it sit some so all the grease will harden at the top so she can scrape it away, and then we'll see what happens. She doesn't think it will be very good grease-less so we'll see.

wow, I've never seen those popsicles before!! soda-flavor is always a bonus. I certainly miss it but I occasionally steal sips from my family's drinks. Bad, I know.....lol

I use the same brand, but have the original flavors: cherry, orange, and grape. Not as exciting as the ones you want...but good nonetheless.

Popsicle Good Stuff

I've never saw those before Laura. I also had lots of problems with getting in my fluids...still do in fact. Warm chicken or beef broth went down easier for me (buy the kind in the box, it has way less sodium...the Walmart brand is good). For whatever reason I can't tolerate Crystal Light, but I can drink the 4C brand (sold right by the Crystal Light). I think it's because the 4C brand is sweetened with Splenda, instead of Equal.

You can also buy your own popsicle mold, and make your own popsicles. If you can't find a mold, just use small styrofoam cups and put a popsicle stick in it...rip off the styrofoam when you're ready to eat it. I've used Gatorade 2 (less sugar than the normal Gatorade) to make popsicles. You could also use chocolate milk, make pudding pops, etc.

Watch out for signs of dehydration...dry skin, dry mouth, dizziness, etc. If it gets bad, you'll need to go to the ER and get rehydrated with an IV.

It'll probably taste better than the store bought stuff. Make sure you put it through a wire strainer first, to get any little bits of meat, veggies, etc out.

Laura I am so sorry you are feeling crappy... Just try to remember why you did this and stay positive. Maybe you can chew up some meat and spit it out just to get the taste. Feel better sweety

You, you are the fluid patrol around here! I'm fixing it with popsicles. My dad just went on a venture out to find me soda popsicles. I'm going to have a few tonight.

If you pour it into a cup, the fat will rise pretty fast and you can pull it off with a turkey baster.

Those dogs don't look all that excited about roast for dinner.

My dad had just put away the leftovers. Then they knew they weren't getting any. The only one they can get food from is me, and they don't seem to be too fond of popsicles.
