Default Corn nuts?

OK...just got back from a short vacay with the kids to an amusement park for a few days. I did OK with my eating, but not stellar. All in all, I was proud of keeping myself in control..especially since the amusement park in question is Hershey Park, and there was chocolate EVERYWHERE. (BTW....just as a side note...fresh Hershey Bars are the bomb. But I only know this from two squares.) But I couldn't have done too badly as I lost 2 pounds while we were gone, much to my total surprise.

Anyhow, my biggest slip was the Corn Nuts I ate yesterday. This morning I woke up with this dull pain in the center of my chest that felt pouch related, and I feel like it's not empty, but it's an odd sensation...not like I feel normally when I'm full. I have this lump in my esophagus that just feels odd. I'm hungry, so I decided to eat soft stuff....having refried beans right now.

Is it possible that the corn nut have aggravated my pouch? Are they a no no? Has anyone else had a problem with them before? Thanks ,guys...

I've never had them before but its very possible that your pouch is irritated. I would say just to do the soft stuff for a day or two to let it calm down again.

You were able to eat normal chocolate?

I can eat a bite or two of just about anything. To be honest, I planned on one square but it was so damn good I ate another. And I paid for it...had a mini-dump... alone with my daughter in an amusement park. Sometimes I guess I need to get hit in the head with a brick...

Still not feeling right...and now I have the worst sort of gas pain down below. Guess I'm adding corn nuts to my list of no-go foods...one more thing I won't get fat on. (psstt....I wonder if it was the chocolate?)

I have had corn nuts in the past as well. I didn't have any problems with them myself, did you chew them to nothing? It also could be that your body isn't liking that particular type of fat. I know if I eat about 3 goldfish I feel the same way. Something about the type of fat. I dunno. Hope you feel better soon!

I have to agree with the fresh Hershey chocolate. When I was younger (pre surgery) there was a factory near us that you could go on tour of and at the end they would give you a free bar YUMMY!

Do I really want to be normal?? Having some body issues. Don't want to be too thin.
