Ughhhh Stalling
I am getting so frustrated. I am 5 weeks post op and have lost a total of 45 lbs. I know thats good for 1 month but I have been at a stall for about 2 weeks now. I have stayed the same weight or gone up and down a lb or 2. I probaly should be boosting my protein and I have been grazing just a little but I know I have been way under in calories. I have also been walking and excersing. I dont know what the problem is. Hopefully next week something will come off.

Normal...
Ah...the dreaded stall! I had one too, around 3 weeks out and from reading on TT, it's very normal. Your body is in shock from everything its been through. The weight loss will pick back up again, soon. Hang in there. I know its frustrating. But stay on target with your surgeons/nuts plan and it will happen. In a few months, you will be wondering where the rest of you went!! Good luck and chin up!!!

Take it from this woman right here. Out of all the threads Ive ever read, she has the worse problem with stalling, but still is able to be up beat and supportive. I think its drugs. :-)
But we all do it. Im still in a stall right now. Bastard stalls.

I was reading about "the natural stall" in a magazine, not related to WLS but losing weight in general. It said that everyone has a weight at which their body will stall that's why so many people lose and gain the same 20-30 lbs over and over again. It seems like a lot people go through it.
