Girl its only been three weeks... if i knew then what I know now I would have taken 3 weeks off work for sure instead of 2. Give it some time it will get better.. I usually tell people.. the first 8 weeks SUCK .... but now at 14 weeks... I wouldnt change a thing... 8 weeks is nothing compared to the next 40 or 50 years on Earth... drop in the bucket chick....would I do it again? yep.. it will get better... just go slow and take time .. and never .. ever... compare yourself to another person... everyone is different and thier bodies are like fingerprints.... hang in there chick.

Default You will do fine!!!

Give yourself a break.

Week 3 was the worst for me.
Started feeling better once I was on solid foods.

Just take it one day and a time! It's worth it and it will get better!!

Thank you ladies for all your support! It's a hot day here in NY today and we're all going out to dinner and then to walk along side the niagra river... this will be a test for me. I've only walked short distances at any given time since surgery, and I'm going to see just how far I can make it today. I'm truly blessed that I've continued to loose weight everyday, and that I'm working my way healthy. I hope you all are having a beautiful healthy weekend and I will catch up with you on the losers bench after I get back from my night out with the fam! Thanks again!

I can't wait to have my life back, I know it's going to be a long haul, but I know when I'm able to play with my girls, not be in pain anymore, and my husband is able to wrap both arms around me and pick me up that it will all be worth it!

i felt the same as you at 3 weeks (im now five weeks), then all of a sudden in the middle of my fourth week the pain lightened up, and now its gone. i had a hernia repair too. it seemed like all of the movement involved with my job (i went back to work at for weeks) prompted the pain to go away.
