Default Weird Ankle Swellage

Okay...question...In the last few weeks, I have noticed that my left foot and ankle are swelling throughout the day. It doesn't hurt to walk on it. I have had some soreness just under the ankle bone that felt sort of like a stone bruise, sore to the touch, but no pain while moving. Well, that's almost better but still its swollen. What could be causing this? Coud it be that I am not drinking enough (I have around 70 oz. of fluid a day including my protein drink). Or could it be my shoes that I wear to work out in? They are old but feel very comfortable while I am wearing them. Could it be they are worn out and causing strain on my ankle? OR could it be something else? I have had ankle/foot swelling before, like when I was way heavier and while I was pregnant...but this just seems weird to me. Any one have any ideas?

Is it hot to touch? I don't want to scare you but I have suffered from Blood Clots since I was sixteen! And because your Post-op I would tend to think you should ask the doctor just to be sure!

To me when I develop a blood clot sometimes it feels like a cramp in my leg and then other times it feels Hot to touch and very painful to touch! But you should not rub it cause it could dislodge and travel!

I would call the doctor!

Default no heat...

No, its not hot to the touch and doesn't have any redness or anything. It's swollen like it was when I was pregnant, only on one side. Usually when I get up in the morning its gone and comes back through the day. I don't think its a blood clot.
