Default Sizing rings?

As you lost weight, what did you do about your rings?

When I was folding clothes last night, my wedding ring flew across the room because it's gotten so loose.

Did you size them as you went down or wait until a certain period of time passed?

I feel naked without my wedding ring, but I don't want to risk it falling off.

Thanks!

I'm curious about this too. My thought process so far is that when I get to that too loose point with my ring that I will either wear it on a chain or at that point get it resized. It's definitely looser now but I don't want to resize a million times. Curious to see what others say about this one.

I've been wearing the ring guards from Wal-Mart for months now. They're cheap and they do the trick. However, I'm having my rings sized this month as I get closer to my goal.

Even though I've lost a massive amount of weight, my rings seem to be fine. Might be because it's summer & i have fat finger issues in the heat. when it's not so warm & i avoid salt, i can put my wedding band on my middle finger, but the engagement ring still fits fine no matter what..

Honestly, depends on you and the type of ring. I've been wearing a sizer on my engagement ring for over a year now. The wedding ring is newer, so it's closer to a true size, but that's getting loose too, but the engagement ring with the sizer (like a tiny, clear rubber tube with a slit in it) keeps it in place. I am waiting until I get to goal to size them. My main reason for waiting is that it does cost a bit, but the engagement ring is platinum and is difficult for a jeweler to size, and it can be sized twice at the most- this is what I was told. In the meantime, I go to one of those jewelry stores in the mall, the kind the teens go to, and pick up a package of sizers; they're usually 6 in a package.
