Also, what kind of mushrooms are you eating and how much cheese are you having at this meal???? I apologize for all the questions, but Your Sucess is so awesome I just want to know everything about it...

Tina:

sorry for the delay in responding. I was out playing golf with the family.

I measure all my foods on a digital scale. I usually portion out 2 ounces of meat cheese together ( a tad more meat usually than cheese) and always end up not eating it all. I KNOW i can eat 1 full ounce of cheese at a sitting but I can never seem to get in a full 2 ounces of cheese and deli meat. I usually buy 1/4 pound of deli meat every sunday ( i switch up flavors each week) and end up throwing some of it away by the end of the week. I buy block cheese and it lasts me for awhile.

I worked in foodservice for a year or two a long time ago on a military base and ever since then, I mark my food with the date I open it and when it should get trashed-- Deli meat i dont keep any longer than 4-5 days. Cheese no more than 1 mo opened. I am really obessesive about my food freshness.

As far as the mushrooms-- they are the small/medium sized regular white mushrooms in the blue tubs in the produce section. Not sure what kind they are. I put crumbled blue cheese (fatty i know but its divine to me) in one or two mushroom caps and broil them in a dish with a enough water to cover the bottom until the caps are soft (usually 45-50 min depending on oven temp) I am pretty sure it is less than an ounce of cheese total in two mushrooms since the caps are pretty tiny. That is one thing i dont measure becuase it is so little. If my 4 yr old daughter is home, I usually make about 4 of these I eat one and she eats the rest. She loves these.

My dr does have goals for each of my visits also, I dont find out what they are until I go for each visit though. I have my 3 month checkup July 30 and he wants me under 190 by them. I think I can handle that so long as Aunt Flo stays away-- last time she visited I stalled out for just at 2 full weeks and was PMSing like never before.

Hope this helps some. Let me know if here is anything else I can explain better for you!
