Thanks BabyNicole,

I've gotten some good feedback from people here about it which was nice. I of course put in a call to her nutritionist for her feedback too and am still waiting.

Good luck with your surgery on the 23rd!!!!! Take care brandyII.

Just a word of caution on taking meds this way. Some meds shouldn't be crushed. Be sure to check with your doc or pharmacist before attempting to take them that way.

Thanks Vikkator, spoke with her nutritionist today to get more backup. We're not messing with her capsules and her vitamin she said to take with food. I appreciate everyone's help here!! brandyII

She needs to space out her pills. If they all gum up together and get stuck, she will vomit. I try to take my pills at least 15-30 minutes apart, throughout the whole day. I have a couple of pills that make me feel like I have to vomit, but if I chase them with a gas-x pill, I'm fine.

Is gasX standard? She takes a medication for heartburn but it's a prescription and in capsule form.

I see a lot of people take it but maybe it's the surgeon, I don't know, thanks brandyII.

Gas X is different from heartburn meds, i.e. Nexium, Prilosec, Pepcid, etc. I bought Gas X just in case. (P.S. I'm also on Nexium.) Give her some Gas X and tell her to fart her heart out! LOL
