Default Dumping on Liquid Tylenol?

I'm sorry I'm asking so many questions....is it possible to dump on liquid Tylenol? In an attempt to reduce the number of large-ish pills I'm taking I purchased some liquid Tylenol today. I took about 1 1/2 TBS and almost instantly felt "off". I can barely keep my eyes open, I feel dizzy and a little more nauseous than I was already feeling. I checked the ingrediant list (no grams given) and it lists sugars as the second and third ingrediant. I tried to find more info on the Tylenol website but couldn't.

Am I dumping on liquid Tylenol? I don't know what else it could be. The only other thing I'd had within the hour was a sip of Crystal Light. I searched on the forum but couldn't find anything on this. What do you think?

I think if sugars are listed as the ingredients, you very well could be dumping on it

I haven't looked because I've not had any problems and quite honestly, I didn't even think to look because I hate that flavor of medicine so much... but I use the Childrens Tylenol meltaways.. I just have to use six tablets to get the proper dosage per my doc. Maybe give that a try instead?

Good luck, hon..

Oh.. I wanted to say... your pouch is super sensitive now, due to the surgery, and you may be bothered by it now, but in a few months be able to tolerate it...

I've read about people dumping on Liquid Tylenol. I have a bottle and sugar is up toward the top on the ingredient list.

They actually make Tylenol suppositories as well...I think you have to ask the pharmacist for them, but they aren't a prescription item.

Liquid Tylenol Definetly Has A Lot Of Sugars..you Also Have To Watch The Dosing Now Too..you Should Talk With Your Doc Before Taking Anything Because You Have To Remember Nothing Is Sitting In Your Stomach As Long As It Used To Its Going Threw A Lot Faster...gl

Well then, no liquid Tylenol for Sue! At least I know I'm not alone. I guess I'll stick to the pills.

There's sugar in it Nicole, but it's not going to bother everyone. I took it several times after surgery after I stopped by prescription pain meds. However, I hate the taste...it reminds me of cough syrup, which I detest.

The taste is why I couldn't get it down, as well. The children's tylenol melt-aways are much better flavored. I won't take children's vitamins but the tylenol is the same exact thing in smaller doses, so my doc has me taking six if I need to take a pain reliever.
