What did you really eat today??
I wanted to post this since i'm sure I'm either eating to much. mixing carbs and/ or the other.
I did this for two reasons. I'm really having trouble making little meals especially for me. I'm not totally focused and need to get back on track. The other reason is, that i'm sure if we swap what meals we are having or have had. we/I will have more ideas regarding what to have.
so here goes:
Breakfast: small bowl of corned flakes and soya milk
Lunch:half tiny pieace of bread and half the hot dog sausage ( remember, I was at the zoo).
Treat: One ice cream cone.
Dinner: Peach, pinapple and orange juice smoothy.
I don't ususally have treats i have to admit however, i did today. all came within 850-1000 calories.
how about you?

No red flags except the sugary stuff in what you ate, hon, but you already said that those were treats and not normal for you. You're fine.
I'm not having that great of an eating day. It's 2:00pm, and all I've had is a 24 oz. coffee and 4 oz. of cottage cheese. We're going out to eat around 4:00pm and I'm having a salad and chicken souvlaki and I'm eating the real Greek dressing. It's hot and I haven't been in much of a mood to eat.
I was out at an amusement park yesterday and my diet was a little wonky. I had two six-inch subs from Subway--steak and cheese, but I pulled over half the bread off each time. (I really just wanted the meat.) I had a cottage cheese for breakfast, I picked at a piece of fish for dinner and then ended up going to Taco Bell for a soft taco, then ended the day with two mini sugar free Hershey Bars. I had like 140 oz. of liquids though.
What I like about eating this way is variety and the feeling that I'm still getting what I want to eat and as time goes on, choices are less of a hassle. It sounds like that's what you're doing, and a treat every now and then isn't a big deal. (if you don't dump...) Our problem before the surgery was treats all the time. That's not who we are now.

Yesterday for "BF" I had 30 oz of a protein fortified coffee latte made with SF hazelnut creamer, 1 scoop of protein powder, 2 tsp of benefiber, and decaf coffee.
Lunch was a 'phase 1' (meaning lo-carb) South beach meal- I ate the protein from it and some of the veggies..it was a 10.1 oz meal and I tossed approx 5 oz away..
Dinner - (a meal my daughter made, I might add -woo hoo!).. 3 oz of ham, 2 oz steamed broccoli with lemon, 1 oz of sweet potato
For my 'treat' I had 2 SF popsicles.
I also drank over 70 oz of decaf coffee & tea throughout the day.
Today, so far I had:
Breakfast:
Fage 2% yogurt 7 oz, mixed with 1/4 of pkg of "white chocolate" SF/FF pudding mix, 2 pkg of splenda and a sprinkling of Butter Toffee glazed Almonds.
Lunch:
1/2 of a MacDonalds Grilled Chicken breast BLT (wth no tomatoes).. with only the bottom bread.
Dinner will be: grilled chicken breast with cajun seasoning, with grilled onions & zucchini.
Drinks so far. protein fortified coffee as above, though not the full 30 oz and only 1/2 scoop of powder..
iced decaf tea. End of the day should have over 70 oz of fluid and I always have at least 2 SF popsicles, sometimes more, lol... Popsicle brand SF pops have 1.7 fluid oz. per pop and I count them towards my fluid intake as well.

I'm almost 6 weeks out. So far today I've had:
Flintstone chewable vitamin
Protein shake (V8 juice with 2 scoops Any Whey powder)
1/4 piece of pita with 1 ounce home-made hummus
1 ounce very spicy beef jerky (I love the stuff!)
LOTS of water
And that is it (so far). I still have a couple of meals to go. My husband is home unexpectedly, so I'll probably make steak and potatoes for dinner (I'll just have the steak).

First off, I must say I envy your ability to eat solid food. Most of you know I'm WAY behind schedule when it comes to eating 'solid' food.
So here it goes ...
16 ounces decaf coffee with FF milk
Chewable vit.
30g. protein drink
15 mile bike ride
30g. protein drink
Chewable vit.
In a few hours I will have another protein drink and right before bed, a slice of sharp cheddar cheese and a little handful of edamame.
I also drink 100 ounces of plain water.
Oh, and yesterday I ate 3/4 of a hardboiled egg! Woohoo!!! It was uncomfortable, but not painful ... so I was very very happy!
'Thann ... NO STEAK FOR YOU!!!!!!!
You are just a baby, and babies can't eat steak

Keep in mind that I'm just over a month out from surgery and I'm still not hungry so have to practically force myself to eat which means I'm probably not getting enough calories....
Breakfast
1/3 cup high protein Raisin Bran (felt I needed the fiber) w/ just enough milk to make soggy
Lunch
1/2 cup deviled ham mixed with LF mayo
Dinner
1/2 cup refried beans with approx. 2 tsps shredded cheese and 1 tsp sour cream
I also got in all my vitamins and lots of H2O (I didn't track this as well as usual)
