Question A charley-horse in the pouch?

What can I say, that's the best way to describe it! It's only happened a few times (4 to 6) since Feb. '07, but last night it happened in the middle of the night. I stretched just the wrong way, and it happened. I got a pain that stretched right across my upper abdomen, felt like a muscle spasm, and it went away after a couple minutes. While it's happening, I just concentrate on relaxing all my muscles- it's all I can do! When it has happened before, it was when I bent and twisted a bit at the same time.
Now, I know people have talked here about spasms, but I only remember (and found) cases of people recently post-op, not more than a year out like me. So, peeps, anybody else? And oh yes, I'm starting some core strengthening exercises again immediately. Don't worry, I'll start nice and sloooooooow, but I'm hoping that strenghthening ab muscles will help.

"People will argue with you that getting what you want in life isn’t something you can learn, if you’re destined to be one of the worlds winners as opposed to one of its perpetual whiners, its because you have been born with the right talents and temperament and have a big dose of self-esteem, ambition, and good judgment."
