Default 5 weeks out

I weighed in at 227.5 today. I started at 285 and was 259 the day of surgery. So, that is 57.5/31.5 lbs so far.

The best part is that in general, I FEEL GREAT!!! I can see the bones in my wrists and feet and am starting to feel my collar bone, although I can't really see it yet. And I've lost a chin!

I started out in size 26/28 from Lane Bryant and now I am comfortably in a 20 (Lane Bryant) and in 2x or 1x T-shirts from "regular" stores. I bought a pair of jeans on sale at LB in size 18. I can fit in them, but they aren't comfortable yet.

In response to a thread I saw on here asking us not to focus so much on our scales, I am keeping track of when my clothes change sizes and also taking pictures of myself. I can really see and feel the difference this way! As far as the scales go, everyone always asks me how much I've lost so far, and I don't have any problem with that. I weigh myself every morning, but I make sure that the scale is not my priority.

Anyway, congrats to all us "Losers"! This is hard work and we deserve to celebrate!!!

I weighed in at 225 yesterday. I don't remember what I was last week. I don't have my paper right here with me. I think that's down 3 lbs. Anyway, I got into a size smaller pants! 20s now! So losing those inches!
