Default Confused

Hi! It will be 7 weeks for me tomorrow since the big day. I am having problems keeping much in me, but I still don't feel like I am losing what I should be. Did anyone else feel this way? Also, I know I am not getting enough protein..what are some good proteins that will stay in?? (maybe! ) Thanks!

Jo Ann,
What you are feeling is normal. We all worry we're not losing enough or eating enough. Your body is healing and you can only take in very small amounts. that will change with time. Just eat slow and chew, chew, chew. You will see a difference in everything in time. I lost inches quicker than pounds.

Thanks! I guess it is all just a learning experience. But I wouldn't trade it! Tomorrow is my doctor's appointment. Wonder what he will tell me and how much I "officially" lost!

I am sure you have lost..especially check inches. I forgot to take measurements in the beginning. As I started to take measurements, I noticed that I was losing size even when I wasn't losing pounds.

What do you bet that in just a few months you will be feeling that you are eating too much? I did and do! Right after surgery I dispaired of ever being able to eat and have it "stick". Now I feel that I am eating way too much!

Thanks! It really helps to know that I am not alone! Today was my appointment. I got my B-12 shot and they put me on calcium supplements. I guess I am just rushing what I want!!

I feel the same way at 9 weeks. I should have lost more by now what if I stop losing etc. I think we just need to get in the mind set that we are and are going to continue to lose! we all want everything now now now. I didn't gain 120-130 lbs overnight so I shouldn't expect to lose it overnight right? WRONG I do! I have been trying to keep busy with work school the kids and of course posting here-I think it is good for my soul. I wish I had a magic cure for both of us, but at this point I think we just have to have faith that we are gonna be BIG LOSERS!!!
