OMG!!! I am learning alot about style these days!! Now that I am in "regular" sizes I have discovered that the pants are cut very different than the "WOMENS PLUS SIZES"

So I am asking you all one basic question.

#1. If you have an hour glass figure how can you bend without showing your panties???

The answers I am getting from my kids are......wear thongs or go comando!!!

O.K., when I was their age, a thong was a shoe you wore at the beach or in the shower and comando was someone in the military???? oh Lordy!!!

Low Rise require Low Rise, whether it is a thong or low rise panties. They are much more comfortable now. I cannot stand pants at my belly anymore and I think it is because of the scar. Go figure. Now that I have a flat belly it is low rise all the way.

Now there's something I've tried to not think about :P

I think thongs were created to torture women!! I really really think I will be in trouble when I lose the weight, I LIKE granny panties (covers everything).
"Going commando" - well, I know guys who do it, but that's another thing I doubt I could handle!!

The low-rise panties are a good choice. They do what they need to do without the odd feeling of the thong. The pants are comfortable for those of us who have low waists and don't like the waistband to be too tight. For me, they sit at my waist but don't contribute to extra "rolls" at the waistband.

The style is definitely crazy, so many of the girls are wearing the pants and purposely showing the thong in the back

Man, saying that makes me feel old and out of touch. Oh well.

Commando in jeans????....I'm just not seeing it.

I personally think if I see another pre-teen or teenage girl with her thong hanging out-I gonna be sick!!! I think it looks trashy. Thongs are for when you don't want a panty line. If you get them in the right size and fabric (cotton only) they aren't uncomfortable at all.

Man, I don't know how I'll handle not needing to hold my tummy in w/granny panties!!

What about the extra skin? How annoying is that in underwear?

I told my husband it is wierd to wear panties without the extra skin hanging. It becomes habit. I tried wearing the granny's after my tt, off to the trash.

For general cltohing, I wear low rise briefs. I have enough loose skin to still need some coverage. If I'm going out, it all depends on what how low or high that waistband goes.

I have to put my two cents in here. I have been going commando in jeans forever.

Occasionally, I will wear a thong with jeans...usually when I'm on my period (TMI...sorry).

But I hate the straight-across look in the butt with regular underwear. You're supposed to have a little curvature in the middle of your butt when you're wearing jeans. When you wear regular underwear with jeans, your butt cheeks go straight across from one side to the other...like you're wearing a full diaper.

Okay, okay, I know I may be a little paranoid about this.

I like wearing tight jeans that show off my curvature.

So kill me, okay?!?!! LOL
