Default PB Which one is your fave and why.

I have seen some of you post about eating peanut butter. Which type do you like best and why? Oh and how are you eating it in your post op meals?

My favorite is JIF creamy. It has 3g sugar and 16g fat. I know it sounds like a lot of fat, but this is about the only fat I do get. My doc still says I don't get enough. I eat it with celery, or apples and sometimes wheat triskets. Occasionaly I have a piece of wheat toast for breakfast and spread some on top. I love it that way.

Personally, I don't eat anything but natural peanut butter, because all of the traditional brands have partially hydrogenated oils in them. Do a google search of these types of oils and you'll see why I don't eat them.

Adams here too, or I get it freshly milled at the health food section at Fred Meyers, they have peanuts and cashews you can mill right there and only get as much as you like,, helps with not having to stir up the oil into the peanut butter which the Adams one does at first, and is fresh more often because I only get little at the time, last a long time, good for my kids too, nos so much sugar other then the natural that comes with the peanuts.

I also just munch on a few peanuts now and then, especially when I need the protein, good excuse anyways
