Talking Surgery was 5/8, came home yesterday.

I feel very good! I went into surgery at 272 lbs, went up to 283 because of all the darn fluids and am back down to 271.5 this morning. I'm finding it VERY hard to get anything into me as I'm constantly feeling full. I'm sipping water as I should and I've found that adding a teaspoon or so of peanut butter to my protein shakes makes them much more bearable! The best thing is just feeling GOOD - mentally. This was absolutely the BEST decision I could ever had made.

And never mind the green grass you won't mow, or what it is you have or don't to show, or what it is you can or can't afford...the good are good without reward.

Randi - congratulations on your surgery - glad to hear that you're doing well.

Having a positive attitude will help you through these early (and sometimes difficult) weeks.

Welcome.
