Default wow wow wow wow

I can shop at NY & CO. Like seriously...no more lane bryant. I needed a pair of shorts and I went into Lane Bryant to get them. Now normally I do not get clothes there, but I was at the mall and I needed some things, so I did. They over price things because they are one of the only plus size stores around here. Well some lady was followingme around and i got frustrated because I hate to be followed in stores, and I left. Just out of curiosity I went next door to NY & Co. to just see what sizes they have. I am almost in an 18 so I thought maybe just maybe. AND THEY FIT. I fit into their extra large shirts and dresses and their 18 shorts and pants. Now some of the pants fit a bit ackward so of course those did not look right, but I got a pair of shorts there. They are a bit tight (I will grow into them nicely and they will last a while for sure) but they fit, and i can where them with out being uncomfortable. I cried in the fitting rooms. Bawled. The lady came over when I came out and was like it's ok sweetie, we all have days like this when things don't fit. And I was like that's just it...it all fits. I have not been able to fit into this size since I was like 14 years old (Maybe). Of course then they were all trying to get me to get a credit card...oh no not this lady. I have too much of a problem right now NOT buying clothes. I don't need that temptation!

Have a super weekend!

Wow! That is awesome - congratulations! Nothing quite like the feeling of getting into your first 'normal' clothes.

Doing a lil happy dance for you.

Isn't it exciting! I still get marketing e-mails from Lane-Bryant, I used to live in their clothes. (I was one of their biggest customers, ar ar ar)
Good for you!

Enjoy the moment sweetie!! It is a huge milestone for most of us and I'm hear to tell you that it is one that doesn't get old...at least not for me. I've been in regular size clothes for almost 2 years and I still get a thrill when I can walk into a regular store and find clothes that actually fit!!

How cool is that.. No MORE LANE BRYANT>>> YA YA YA..
I felt exactly the same way I walked by Lane Bryant and
swore I would never again go in there.. I love shopping at
normal stores.. I am still trying to wait to go to the mall since I have
had some amazing hand me downs from a friend who lost tons of weight before me. Love it.... Congrats of your New York and CO experience..

Girl I think all of us on here have already or will shed those tears of joy when we are able to shop and buy regular sizes. I have cried in many a dressing room, and still find myself gravitating to the plus size section first. The last time I shopped in lane bryant and got a pair of pants off the clearance rack in a size 14W when the cashier said thanks and come back and in my head was my little voice saying back "not anymore". Way to go girl!!!!

Oh I wish I would not have to shop at Lane Bryans anymore,, but at my size, for a while I have no choice.

I am in desperate need of pants, I am still wearing them 3x that I got from the catalog about 2 years ago, and still in great shape, but they are soooo close to go down on me as I walk, it's embarassing having to be pulling up on them all the time. I should take some in but not sure if I am up to the sewing, agh.

I do have quite a few shirts that I am going into from things I purchased and where way to small, some of them are getting to be way to big already, so trying to enjoy them as much as I can before that happens.

Need to pass some of this 3x things so will get them all washed and folded ready to give to someone that needs them.

Any clothing exchange going on one of the forums here? offcouse if you getting off of some 2x or 1x you don't want my 3x

Saint Vincent De Pauls will get hit hard by me

Congrats rivi, I can't wait to do my crying at the dressing room.

One thing I did fit on this cute little bra I bought some time back, it's size Large but it's quite stretchie, I put on a beutiful blouse I purchased 2 years ago that has a tunic that ties on the front, red, my favorite color, with some beads on the front, and needed a bra that would not show, so this one was the same color, it feels sooo good to feel sexy in a way you know, my husbands eyes where about to pop out when he saw me on that bra, as something else looked like could be popping out of it lololol, but hey, it held and, I smiled all day, was a great mother's day
