Default Unexpected quick beginning!

I am so excited. I had my one-week follow-up after my open that was followed by extreme bloating and I actually was 8 pounds down and I didn't expect this at all.

That's all I need for incentive til I see my nutritionist next week.

My drain is out, 2/3's of my stitches are gone -- liquid diet is still ON and I'm off and running (well, sort of running).

Just want to Ra! Ra! anyone who may be considering RNY or is waiting for their surgery date to happen - it may be a long road to freedom but it's well worth it. My first anchor of freedom will come with an approximate 70 pound loss to 280 where I believe that my mobility will improve and that's my very first goal - to WALK ! ! !

Congratulations! It's great that you are so positive at this stage. I'd bet it's not easy, but it will be worth it. I'm joining you on the losers bench on Monday, and I hope I'm as positive next week as you are now. Happy trails!

Default Great going

Marella, glad to hear your surgery went well and you're up and running. I was hoping to hear how my surgery-day mates had done - we're in this together. Keep going and I'll race you to the finish line!
