Default 1 Year Surgiversary!

I'm just totally amazed! One year out and 118lbs down. Just AMAZING! I have flown on an airplane and not needed an extender. I'm now at a weight and size neither my husband or I have seen since we were dating. I can go on field trips with my daughters and know I"m not "the fat mommy". I can keep up with my family and not feel like everyone is waiting on me. I am SO thankful for this tool and I just really hope I can continue to lose past my initial goal of 180 and keep going down.

LIFE IS GOOD!!!

Thanks No nothing big planned but my mom did buy me flowers

Honestly just being able to move and get around and not be tired all the time is celebration enough.

Glad you got some flowers out of the deal, though I totally agree with you about the moving around thing.

I went for one of my power walks yesterday with someone who is in far better shape than I, but managed to keep up with him quite well (though I was more winded than he)..

He was giving me props for keeping up when I reminded him that four months ago I was hobbling around with a crutch, cuz my knees were in so much pain... so, I can completely relate to your celebrating your being able to move around as well. GREAT JOB, Dierdrea!..

It is SO nice to go out and not be "that" mom. I feel like I"m mostly normal for the first time in a VERY long time. It's wonderful.
