Talking Confetti!!

Great thread! We should do this every week (unless we already do and Nyn is just out of the loop as usual ).

Well, after my eye-roll worthy weigh-in attempt yesterday (that I posted about), I just could not resist weighing again today. Yesterday: 200.2. Today: 198.

Yes, I weighed myself about a dozen times trying to verify it, and the weight showed as anywhere from 197.6-198.8. And yes, I tried to take pictures again, but this time the room wasn't bright enough to turn the flash off and the flash kept reflecting back so I couldn't see the digital read-out, so I'm not sure the picture will post well. Maybe try again later. I'm also not officially calling it ONEderland yet 'cause like MiladyB says, the weight isn't real until you've weighed the same or less 2-3 days in a row.

I'm just recently out of a 3 week stall, but over the past 2 months I've averaged a loss of 2 pounds per week, which I hear is a good, realistic rate to lose at -- for those of us several months out, I mean. Early-post-op'ers should of course be happy with faster rates of loss. As for me, today I am definitely HAPPY!!!!!

I finally got to weigh myself yesterday and it appears that I've only got 5 pounds of "baby fat" to lose. I'm so thrilled! I figured I was alot heavier, because my size 10 jeans don't fit yet. I guess all the weight I've got left is in my butt

The weight hasn't exactly been flying off...BUT...I haven't gained anything either (though I don't know how I could by sticking to this "eats like a bird...a very tiny bird" diet!

My downfall was weighing in every day...against all the good advice here to only weigh in once a week. I think I'll ask the hubster to hide the scale and only bring it out for me on Monday mornings. This will also prevent me from having any violent interaction with said scale. I may just paint it red and add horns to it. Oh my...Oh my!

I will be missing my support group meeting tonight...was running a temp this weekend and believe it was due to extreme pain from a bout of tendinitis in my left arm...so I missed mucho sleep. That dastardly liquid Tylenol is simply useless, imo! Better now but still can't lift my left arm all the way up. Do you know how hard it is to put deodorant on when you can't lift your arm to gain access to your arm pit? I digress.

I say all hail the Monday Morning Weigh-In!!

love you all...mumsy

I did the Monday afternoon at the gym weigh in (digital scale not my crappy one) and I waa at 242, that is 4 pounds from last week aat 246. I can smell the 230's. I am going to a wedding in 2 weeks and soooo want to be in the 230's when I see my family. I am doing 3 water aerobic classes at the YMCA a week for 60 minutes at a time, and walking the dogs the other days. I even jog on occasion. I love this tool and want to keep working it. I have so much energy right now I could just jump around my house!
