Not so much. I shrieked, jumped up and down, and ran to grab my camera. I wanted a pic of the scale numbers. So, I grabbed the scale and dragged it to a more clear part of the floor, got my camera zoomed-in and ready, and then stepped back on. The scale then said...200.2. Noooooooooooooooooooooooo!! So, I stepped off, let it reset, and stepped back on. The digital numbers totally did that "Biggest Loser" scale thing where they bounced all around -- 199...196...198...199.6...198...200.2. And stopped.

So...not yet. I guess the tile floor in my kitchen is uneven enough that moving the scale around will make it balance differently? Sigh. So close...yet so disappointing. Maybe tomorrow?! Eh, I should wait another few days so I'll know for sure next time that it's real. No more false hope!

I hear ya....the first time I tried to take a picture of my scale numbers I had stepped off the scale to go grab my camera...dang if I could get the same numbers to pop back up again. SOOO, I decided to keep my camera near the scales and take a picture as soon as I saw the correct numbers.

It's a great way to record onederland and century!

As a matter of fact, the mornings I wake up and poop right away are my favorite mornings, because i know the scale is gonna love me that day. I've actually briefly considered weighing a poop...just to get a ball park idea. Good lord, am I sick or what?

Oh yeah....that's so sick...ugh!

I know I can weigh myself in the morning right after I pee and then take a shower and I weigh half a pound less. I'm not THAT dirty! lol!

I can also show a loss for some weird reason if I weigh myself a couple of hours after my initial weigh in in the morning.

OMG. This is how I know you are all my people.
I only have a tile floor in one room in my trailer, and it's the kitchen. The kitchen is the most visible room in my trailer (windows on three sides). Sooooo. I weigh myself at about 5-6 a.m. in the morning. I get naked. I turn off every available light source, and pray that there are no neighbors driving by with their headlights on.
And I do it before I shower, because I know wet hair is heavier than dry hair.
This makes perfect sense to me.

I read your post and agreed with so many things ( weighing, taking pics and making a poo/pee before I weigh) but now I see your sig and am incredibly pee-doff with you.

Damn- you had your op a day before mine and have lost double what I have.
Unfair, I don't like you anymore.
Have to go sob somewhere quietly now.
Snif

Congrats though!

I to have a love/hate relationship with my digital scales. Have you considered pitching it and getting the traditional dial scale. They have new ones that have markers on them. I really liked my last one, but they guys broke it so I got this digital one and although I like seeing the digital readout, the same thing happens with me. Step off and back on and it changes. How can two seconds make a difference. If I buy a new one I think I'm going to go back to the old standard with the markers again. I think it's less frustrating. Congratulations on making onderland, if you're not there this morning you will be in a day or so.

NYN, LOOK WHAT YOU'VE ACCOMPLISHED IN 7 MONTHS!!!! Wooooo HOOOOOOO!!!!!!

Onederland is, of course, such an accomplishment, but on the other hand, ONE pound can't compare to the 140 or so that you have lost!!!!

Just think of how you will fee on our cruise!!!!

I have an affair going with my scale, I weigh in every single day lol, first thing, pee first, and holly cow I hope that morning I am not constipated and can poo so I weigh even less.

Funny things, some days, especially like last Sunday when I go on hikes, I weight less in the evening then when I first wake up, I like that kind of days wohoo lol.

I don't get too offended with my scale if it tells me a gain a pound or two for some odd time of the month reason, it comes off within a few days most the time, then starts going down again.

My scale and the doctors scale are of one mind too, as seems to I always weigh within a pound of what mine does in the morning at the doctors when I go in for one of my post-op appointments.

Hard to believe, but the end of next month is my six month post-op, time sure flies, and even if I only lost 74 since surgery, I am a much happier, healthier and energetic person and mom then I used to be, I am alive and loving it
