My heart goes out to you and everyone else who's going through the hair loss. I too had cut my hair short. Very short. I had a spot on the back left that was pretty bare. I cried a lot too. It does eventually come back, but like Claire, where my major hair loss was it changed, I now have a horrific cowlick. My hair is far thinner than it use to be, but some of that is probably heridity and aging too. I'm finally after almost 6 years decided to start letting it grow again. It's hard as I have naturally curly hair and I can't do a thing with it. Hoping it get's to that point where I can pull it up soon! Hang in there, it does get better.
