*sad face*

Gosh, I am so sorry you are feeling that. It's crummy as all get out to feel "stuck" with food.

I was told I could slowly start trying reg. foods yesterday and so I tried a chicken finger, like a small tender no crust and it didn't get stuck but wow! It felt like a little paper weight in there. Scared me to death.

*hugs*

I hope you get to feeling better. I didn't eat anything else hardly after that for fear of getting sick so I kept that night and today pretty light and I seem to feel fine. Maybe this will be so for you as well. I hope you don't stay sick from this.

I got chicken stuck about a week ago. I swear it might have been the worst pain I have ever experienced. (No kids yet...lol). It just sat there. I know it was because I ate too fast, and did not get it mushy enough, but good lord, I cried and choked. It was awful. I have not thrown up yet, luckily after about an hour it went down, and all I kept thinking was DO NOT DRINK anything. I remember Mina saying something about that. I went to mushy stuff the next day, and am now ok (had chick for breakfast, lunch, and dinner...lol). I am suffering from some hormonal surges though...now that is another story!!

I'm so sorry you had to be so uncomfortable. I think we've all experienced these pissy pouch moments. I tried to eat a small pancake and apparently ate it way too fast and oh my, did my pouch rebel. My own fault, but hey, you learn real quick if something was a bad idea. That was a day of babying for sure. I'm sure you'll feel much better after a little pouch pampering.

ohhhh, chicken. I'm so sorry you've been so uncomfortable.
My doctor warned me about chicken breasts, said lots of her patients had trouble with them for a long time. And she was right.
Skinless, boneless thighs. I'm much happier with those. Higher fat, I know, but they have never gotten stuck.
Sometimes I think we've been overly programmed as overweight people to go for the skinless boneless breast. And it's just too darn dry for us, esp. early on.
Hope all things go well with you!
