Default How the heck!

How does the scale say for 2 days in a row (sorry) that i gained 3 pounds! What the heck is wrong with me i'm almost 4 months out i eat well excersize! Now i've been patient with the stupid weight loss but now this! I said to my 15year old that tomorrow i want her to hide the scale and only bring it out once a week. But thats not explaining my gain. Only thing i can think of is that my little "explosive bowels" have sorta been corrected with the help of that bulking fiber (thank God for that) but now that i'm not having diarreah 10 times a day is that why i'm gaining now! Grrr i'm so frustrated anyone else go this a small gain at 4 months

deb, I gain 4lbs every day and lose it by morning. No additional loss, just the same dang 4 lbs every day. If I keep going at this rate I have been for the past two weeks you could say I have lost 56 lbs in two weeks, haha wouldn't that be great. I am at four months also, and just seem to be plateaued and stuck here. I also gain at least 6 right before I start which has been 5 times since surgery. I guess I am getting payback for being irregular for years. I wouldn't worry about this little gain, you will lose it in now time. Thanks again for always being so nice and supportive to me.

I know with me this always, and I mean always happens on my period week. I usually don't lose any or even gain a pound or two, but then I seem to drop a couple after the fact and the vicious cycle begins again next month. Good luck you will make it through this and be dropping pounds again in no time.

i havent had a period since june 2004! i'm on that depo shot.

Izzy & Cassie i feel better now after hearing from you. Thank you. Its just so frustrating and depressing i'm NOT one who gets depressed but this really is emotionally draining i just had high expectations with GBS i though by 4 months i'd be further along ya know. I really does help to hear others at 4 months say the same thing. I just keep seeing others here my age my starting weight and they are far surpassing me in loss. I'm so happy for them but a part of me wishes that could be me too thanks guys

Right there with ya ladies. I stay the same or gain a pound around a week before I start and then drop a few. I have also stalled a few times and nothing is more frustrating than to get on the scale and see no progress.

Are you weighing yourself at the same time of day or is it just random. I was to the point that I weighed myself every time I went into the bathroom. I decided that was enough because I was stressing over it. I picked Mon. to be my weigh in day and stay away from that damn scale other than that.

Put the scale away for a few weeks and then get back on, I bet you will be surprised.

Deborah, I think it just boils down to we are all different. My doc told me I have a super slow metabolism so what normally would be lost in 12 months will take me 18 to 24. Not what I had hoped for but who cares as long as it comes off right? You are about where I was at 4 months. I am soon to be 9 months and just hit 90 pounds lost this week. Good luck.

Kim that really is a brillant idea! i'm going away next friday (25 - 27) i think i will weigh myself tommorow and tell Tekerya to hide the scale until May 2nd! thats exactly what i'll do thank you

Cassie you are so right thank you as well. When they did my metabolic testing at 3months it was fine so i think maybe i need to just excersize more who knows your story inspired me too and congrats on the 90 pound loss wow
