Hey, Cklas, did you hear that football score tonight...Oh, sorry, that was not football, that was my Cubs pummeling the Brew crew! It's Gonna Happen!

And thanks Duckie for planning on voting for Cubs for the All Star Ballot. Wouldn't it be awesome to see a Series in Fenway and Wrigley....of course, as a true Cub fan, I know it's only April and I shouldn't be taking so many sips of Cub Cool-Aid....but what the heck?! If I can dream about my new body, I can dream about the Cubs too.

LOL Bill. I already placed all 25 votes! I waste no time! Gotta love the cubs. I'd love to see that series too. GO CUBBYS!

Not to go off topic but I just realized I will actually be able to fit into those seats at ball games LOL
But I think I will have to stay away for awhile....just the smell of the food and beer might drive me crazy!
and for your cubbies...even a blind squirl finds a nut sometimes

Spoken like a true Chicago baseball fan, Cklas! In truth, I am scared that after last night's route of the Brewers, my Cubbies will more than likely be shut out, 1-zip. It always seems to be the way....for both our Sox and Cubs, dontcha think???

Wish we could store up some of those runs on the rare occasions we clobber some other team. Some rookie or unknown pitcher will shut out the Cubs today OR hit a three homer or something...I don't WANT that to happen, of course, but it's been that way all my life!!!! Being a Cub fan is a birth defect I cannot get rid of....always, there's that little bit of hope (stupidity?) that sneaks into my life. Maybe THIS year. Maybe....But I hope you had a blast in 2005. I was decent about it. Jealous as hell, but hopefully not a jerk. The most nuts I ever went was when we clinched in Pittsburgh on a Monday night in September, I went down to Wrigley with four other buddies and we got really "overserved," what a riot. Bad hangover the next day, however! But then we blew it in SanDiego....what hell...enuff of my blubbering.

Thanks, DUCKY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Go Cubs, Go!

All I know is that my Cubs will continue to rip my heart out. They've been doing that since I was eight years old...and I am 56 now. I love 'em, I hate 'em, I can't stop rooting for them....but they find more and more ways to rip my heart out and stomp on it. Like Kerry Woods and Soriano yesterday....Now, a series in St. Louis....I know it's early, but they would not surprise me if they get swept....I HOPE not. But who knows?

Just watched them lose in St. Louis, Ducks.....Very frustrating. We gave the game away in the first inning. I rant about Soriano in the outfield then he hits the hr to tie it up in the ninth, but they blow it anyway in eleven innings....Why do I put myself thru the pain and agony of being a Cubfan?????? Wish I could ignore 'em. But tomorrow's another day! And I NEVER trust SI....but who knows? Thanks, Ducks!
