Default For those with protien problems

I just tried the "New-Whey liquid protein" vial things. I wouldn't call them "vials" though. They're more like, well, they're shaped "interestingly" lets just say. They're about 6 inches long and about an inch or so in diameter, and have 25 or 42 grams per vial. Anyways, I tried the fruit punch one, and was expecting it to be gross from hearing stuff on the forum, but was pleasantly surprised. The flavor was strong, but was pretty easy to get down. I also have a blue raspberry one and an orange one too to try. So if anyone is brave enough to try, I got them from the "Vitamin Shoppe". Or just PM me if you need more info. I know this is a lifesaver for me, I wasn't getting nearly enough protein in.

Thanks, I'll see if I can find something like that. I can't drink the chocolate powder any more. I gag thinking about it. So I'm not getting all my protein either since I can't eat much. What happens if we don't get our protein? Why again is it so important?

I love these things, if it wasn't for them I probably would never get in my protein. I get them at GNC and they have a fruit punch (great) and a peach (not too bad).

From what I understand about the whole "protein" thing is that it helps your body to heal afterwards and also with the eventual hair loss thing that is about to happen to all of us who are recently post op.

I hear the hair thinning and falling out usually starts to happen in the 3rd month or maybe a bit earlier and last for a few weeks. Supposedly protein helps that cycle to not be as intense.

And also protein helps you maintain the muscle you have so all you lose is fat. It promotes good muscle and immunity health.

I relied on the 42g bullets early out - I had a problem getting the powdered protein down.

Orange was my favourite. I used half a bullet at a time in a cup of water.

So far I've only just drank it straight. I would rather just do the shot of it and get in 10 grams per shot instead of having to drink a whole glass of water to get in 10 grams.
