I was given phenergan in pill form during my second pregnancy. Now the stuff causes RLS for me.

I haven't dumped since the baby was born, but during the pregnancy and before, it was pretty much instant. I'd get really nauseous, and most often it wouldn't last too long. But even then it was long enough to make me steer clear of whatever caused it.

For me it's usually about 10 - 15 min. before I start to feel it coming on. I have dumped a lot so I usually look at the clock and know that in 1/2 hour to an hour it will pass. Some time when it was real bad I would have to go lay down as it made me really tired. I don't dump like I did before revision (thank goodness) but I still get the ocassional yick feeling. IMO is sounds like you had eatten something that was "stuck" and wouldn't go down. That's an awful feeling too. Hope you're feeling better now. If it was something stuck remember to chew chew chew. When I first had my surgery, my Dr. said the opening is no larger than an M&M (that's pretty small!)
