Default Plateau

Arg...I have hit my first plateau and it is so irritating. I was losing really well, and then for a whole week, nothing. I know it will pass and I know it has happened to everyone but I just needed to vent how irritating it is.

You too?

I swear I've been this way for 2 weeks now and I've increased my walking and other activites. I am just swearing off weighing myself anymore til I go back to my doct.

*hugs*

No worries, like you said everyone goes through these times and besides we are still in the honeymoon phase of our surgery. It'll be fine you'll see.

oh boy! I tell ya, It happens to everyone, right? well, It's so different when it happens to you. I've not told anyone but it's been an awfull 10 days. my weight went up 2 lbs, I just don't get it. So today I step on the scale and low and behold I've lost the 2 plus one. So, I'm learning to hate the scale. In the beginning weighing every day was a thrill because at the end of the week I was 5+ lbs less. with a plateu of a few days and then another great loss. Now, with this last plateau I've been miserable about the whole ordeal. I wander if I will continue to loose more slowly or it's just a plateau. Whatever! I feel great physically, I can walk for miles and ride a bike too! I know I eat very little so the lbs will have to go away. It all is so strange of a process, that's all.

I have noticed a pattern.
A week after my period, I stop loosing and maybe even gain a pound or two, then I start loosing again. Last week on Monday, I was 309, and then I gained to 311, and stayed there, then finally Monday this week was back to 309, and today I lost 1 lb from yesterday, so I hope to see this start to go down again, I want to go into the 200's soon.

I hate Plateaus, agh, hate em hate em

Hmm...I wonder if this can be verified? It certainly would explain alot wouldn't it? I noticed too that all last week that I was on my cycle I did not lose nor gain either.

I haven't weighed myself since and lo and behold 2days later and I am on it again.

You know the cycle thing actually makes a lot of sense. I won't go into too much detail but I'm supposed to start next week. Perhaps its water and bloating. Thanks everyone for listening and co-miserating.

Has anyone hit their first plateau just 2 weeks after surgery? It seems to have happen to me. It has me worried to death because I still get hungry and so far I haven't had that stuffed feeling that everybody seems to talk about. I have to be careful not to eat to much (1/4-1/2 cup per meal) I am getting in my protien and drinking my water. WHAT IS WRONG WITH ME?
