For once, I am too tired to sling a ration of pew pew on this one. With all due respect you shouldnt eat mashed potatos so early on. You also shouldn't eat lettuce or cucumbers so early on.

This tough love is nothing compared to what I would have dealt.

Just another desperate housewife here, but again I digress. GL to you. Maybe you will come back when you realize that not everyone delivers their message with sugar spice and candy coating. But we do all mean well.

To give you an answer to your original post, mashed potatoes were an option for me after the end of week 3 and my liquid diet, and in the puree phase. I was told that if it's what you can eat and keep down, then go for it. You will find that the diets dictated by the many surgeons who have worked on the folks here vary like night and day.

Yes, but if someone already "quoted" you...what's the point. BTW, I believe I posted to your Mashed Potatoes thread... I can't remember, but I don't believe I beat you up about them.

Ummm...Ruca was stating a fact. Do what you want. But if you say goodbye, and then stick around - what good is it? Buh bye...

Not EVERYONE told you not to eat potatoes, I told you I couldn't eat potatoes. Lighten up. You asked for the advice.
