Default 1 month out - woo hoo

Today I am one month out, I had Lap RNY March 12th and I feel great. I am often tired, but I am getting my water, supplements and protein in daily. I have been on a full liquid diet since March 16th and I am so thankful for pureed chicken taco meat.

The support and information offered on this site and others like it is so wonderful. I have learned so much from the people on this board.

I cant wait for another 4 weeks to go by so I can see how much more I have lost. *HUGZ*

I had mine on March 17 too..and have lost just under 30, but also have slowed. It's the three week plateau mark. At three weeks your body is starting to heal and just getting used to stuff. I upped my protein and saw a couple of pounds come off this week. No worries!

Also I started adding purrees and mmmmmmmmmmmmmmm yum!

Default rebirth march 10

my surgery was on the 10th and i go back to the Dr.s on Friday, but I think I am right at the 30 pound mark. Around week 3 really slowed but am loosing again.
i am really trying to focus on liquids because I am not getting enough, my fingers are shriviling so sip sip sip!
I have been trying out recipies that are low in sugar and works great for a puree diet. This one passed with flying colors with all the family.
Strawberrry Mousse
3/4 cup boiling water mix with 1 3oz package of sugarfree strawberry gelatin
put in blender with 1 cup ice cubes
blend
add 1 1/2 cups fresh strawberries sliced--blend
pour into a bowl and then fold in 3/4 cup of defrosted sugar free cool whip.
chill two hours
makes 4 servings

In California Strawberries are plentiful, if not where you live then try frozen
Enjoy
