Default Tomorrow is 7 weeks

and I am down 41 lbs. as of my checkup today. I don't go back to see the surgeon for 3 months and I can feel free to come in once a month and weigh myself. I am very excited. They drew labs so I am sure I'll be getting the call on what vitamins I am deficient but that is ok. I am down 41 lbs. I can't believe it. I have lost so much weight and it is sooooo worth it once you start feeling better. Honestly, at first I felt like shit and regretted my decision but now - heck yeah!

Now, if I could only get rid of my "bat arms".....time to use those weights!

Jeanette that is fabulous you are really doing well! Do you know if the weights really will help our bat wings?

Deborah - god only knows but I figure it is worth a shot. Being only 34 and a former athlete, I am hoping that the resistance band and weights will help. My biceps look good for still being a big girl....but when I push my bat wings back I think "hell yeah I can wear a sleeveless shirt"

I spoke to the trainer who works with my surgeon and he is great - can't wait to start working out with him.

Hey Dave... Welcome to TT. Sorry to hear about the troubles you're having.. it seems that this isn't so uncommon to need to have that scope to stretch the opening a bit.

You might want to consider navigating to the 'Introduce Yourself' section and starting a post there so you'll be properly welcomed to TT

Join the club, I have heck of bath wings, they also look like cottage cheese a bit,, gosh,, is the trainer cute?? can he train me lol... I need to stop doing that, but I am after cute doctors and trainers for some silly reason.

I do believe however, resistance and weight training does help with some of the issue, especially of the cottage cheese effect, I have tested it in the past and yes it works, so ladies and gentleman, get them weights and resistance bands out and start pulling and pushin lol.

Ok I am off, honest, I have had 0 alcohol since my surgery

We'll end up talking about droopy boobs and the like - you don't want to get lost in all that!
